A domain name audit complements our monitoring service and is a key element in developing a naming strategy. Mailclub search tools provide comprehensive audit data of global TLDs at any given moment.

Global whois search

 From one of several (brand) names, we list all registered domain names, in all extensions, regardless of ownership or registrar.
 We report the availability status of domain names in all extensions (gTLDs and ccTLDs) in the form of an Excel spreadsheet that includes registrant contact information for registered domains, and a summary of registration regulations for available domains.

Global search for comparable or similar content

For any item, a brand name for example, we search all areas containing this item (E.G., abcyourbrand.com, abcyourbrand.fr, abcyourbrand.de, etc.) or reasonable approximations (E.G., abyoubrand.cn). Your account manager will then work with you to refine your research parameters and avoid parasitic and irrelevant responses. Such preparatory research helps to be warned of all the new names registered which are identical to or contain to the search term (with detection of all terms appearing to the left and/or the right of the monitored term) as well as previously registered such domain names.

The scope of monitoring includes more than 800 extensions : generic and country-code, as well as their 3rd level extensions (E.G., for China, .COM.CN, .NET.CN or .SH.CN.).

Pricing is based on the number of detected domain names so that the shorter the term or the greater the potential for typographic error, the greater will be the number of domain names listed.

Typosquatting is a domain registration strategy that relies on the probability that an Internet user may incorrectly type a site name and in this way subject him or herself to phishing and other fraudulent data collection strategies.
