Recovering an already registered domain name can be sticky business depending on your rights and those of the domain owner. Our teams will advise and assist you, whatever your situation, in order to maximise your chance of success.
Given the diversity of variables involved, no two recovery cases look the same. We will carry out a detailed study of your rights to the domain name before recommending any action. If more than one solution is feasible, we will provide counsel and eventually act on your behalf to recover your domain name at the best possible price.
For domain names in which your prior rights are evident and leave no doubt, our teams may attempt an amicable recovery by simply approaching the owner to explain the situation. When successful, we manage the administrative and technical transfer onto our platform.
Legal proceedings (via the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy) may be the only solution to recover or claim a domain. We will coordinate the case with your lawyers and the WIPO or connect you with our international partners who specialise in these kinds of proceedings.
All procedures use the services of trusted outside parties to ensure risk-free transfers.
